Hier hat der chilenische Staat drei vor der einsamen Felsenk\u00fcste gelegene Inseln schon fr\u00fchzeitig unter Naturschutz gestellt. Im Hafen sehen wir allerdings Fischer, die in gro\u00dfen Mengen <em>Abalone<\/em>, die ebenfalls unter Naturschutz stehen, auf Wagen verladen. Wir entscheiden uns spontan f\u00fcr eine Tour und sind zwanzig Minuten sp\u00e4ter in einem kleinen Boot bereits unterwegs.<\/p>\n<p>Unsere Spontanit\u00e4t wird belohnt: Schon w\u00e4hrend der Anfahrt Richtung <em>Isla Choros<\/em> entdecken wir Finnwale, die eigentlich f\u00fcr diese Jahreszeit noch etwas zu fr\u00fch sind. Sp\u00e4ter im Jahr kann man rund um die Inseln mit etwas Gl\u00fcck auch Buckelwale, Blauwale und Orcas beobachten.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mondomare.de\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/P1160853.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2045\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mondomare.de\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/P1160853-300x162.jpg\" alt=\"P1160853\" width=\"300\" height=\"162\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.mondomare.de\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/P1160853-300x162.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.mondomare.de\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/P1160853-600x325.jpg 600w, http:\/\/www.mondomare.de\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/P1160853-624x338.jpg 624w, http:\/\/www.mondomare.de\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/P1160853.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Unser Gl\u00fcck h\u00e4lt an, denn kaum sind die Finnwale abgetaucht wird unser Boot von einer Gruppe gro\u00dfer T\u00fcmmler begleitet. Die Insel darf nicht betreten werden, sondern bleibt ausschlie\u00dflich den Tieren vorbehalten, die dort auch ihre Babystuben haben. Besonders die nur einen halben Meter gro\u00dfen Humboldt-Pinguine sind putzig anzuschauen. So watschelig und unbeholfen sie an Land erscheinen so beh\u00e4nde und rasend schnell sind sie unter Wasser.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style type=\"text\/css\">\n\t\t\t#gallery-2 {\n\t\t\t\tmargin: einigen Stellen schmale, weit nach oben f\u00fchrende Trampelpfade. Wir sehen verschiedene Arten von M\u00f6wen, T\u00f6lpel, Pelikane und Kormorane, und bewundern ihre Flugakrobatik. Die Landung ist vielleicht nicht unbedingt die St\u00e4rke der Pelikane und manch einer kippt dabei auch schon mal auf die Nase und mu\u00df wild mit den Schwingen schlagend korrigieren, aber daf\u00fcr sind sie mit Abstand die besten Gleiter. Die tiefschwarzen Kormorane kreisen in zehn bis 15 Metern \u00fcber dem Meer und halten Ausschau nach kleinen Fischen. Durch flechtenbehangene Kakteenfelder klettern wir \u00fcber die kleinen H\u00fcgel und an den wei\u00dfen Sandstr\u00e4nden mit t\u00fcrkisblauem Wasser f\u00fchlen wir uns fast wie in der Karibik. Stille und den Aufenthalt, auch wenn er nur kurz ist, sehr. Die fast g\u00e4nzliche Unber\u00fchrtheit der Insel und ihre schlichte Sch\u00f6nheit vermitteln einen Eindruck, wie sich Leben ohne den Menschen, ohne Zivilisation anf\u00fchlt.<\/p>\n<p>Wir erleben einen tollen Tag, und der Grzimek in mir ist mehr als zufrieden.
