Ab <em>Bahia Inglesa<\/em> wird es auf kleinem Niveau sp\u00fcrbar touristischer, da hier viele Chilenen aus Santiago oder aus dem Norden ihre Ferien verbringen. Es ist keine Erntezeit und so tr\u00e4umt der sehr authentische Ort entspannt vor sich hin.<\/p>\n<p>Hier in <em>Huasco<\/em> endet die K\u00fcstenstra\u00dfe und wir m\u00fcssen zur\u00fcck auf die \u00f6stlich im Landesinneren verlaufende PanAm, um zum <em>Parque Nacional Ping\u00fcino de Humboldt<\/em> zu gelangen. Auf nicht ganz halber Strecke zur PanAm beschlie\u00dfen wir, uns ab <em>Freirina<\/em> querfeldein s\u00fcdw\u00e4rts durch die Berge zu schlagen. \u00dcber eine ausgesetzte, nur m\u00fchsam befahrbare Piste schrauben wir uns Kurve f\u00fcr Kurve immer weiter bis auf 1.300 Meter hoch. Die Fahrerei ist anstrengend und Hugo kurbelt bis er dicke Arme hat. Teilweise ist die Piste in dem Gel\u00e4nde nur auf die n\u00e4chsten zwanzig Meter sichtbar und wir erwarten jeden Moment ein Sesam-\u00f6ffne-dich-Tor oder ein Loch im Boden, welches uns vertrocknet, von stacheligen Kakteen abgesehen ohne jedes Leben, aber als wir aussteigen und genauer hinschauen werden wir \u00fcberrascht: Die Vielfalt der Vegetation ist enorm gro\u00df und viele der Kakteen tragen gerade Bl\u00fcten in den unterschiedlichsten Farben und Formen oder auch kleine Fr\u00fcchte.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style type=\"text\/css\">\n\t\t\t#gallery-3 {\n\t\t\t\tmargin: \u00c4sten w\u00e4chst eine Art leuchtend-gr\u00fcnes Moos. Wir sind beeindruckt, wie die Natur es auch hier schafft, der Luft das bisschen Feuchtigkeit abzutrotzen und f\u00fcr sich zu nutzen.
