Nachdem wir den winzigen Ort <em>Chiguana<\/em> und den ebenfalls beeindruckenden Salar gleichen Namens passiert haben wird die Umgebung immer unwirtlicher, der Pistenzustand immer schlechter bis hin zu nicht mehr vorhanden. Dazu unsere regul\u00e4re Stra\u00dfenkarten von Bolivien und Chile, in welchen die Pisten nat\u00fcrlich nicht eingezeichnet sind, wohl aber die gr\u00f6\u00dften Berge und Vulkane der Region, die uns zumindest Hinweise auf die grobe Richtung geben k\u00f6nnen. Jedes System f\u00fcr sich ist v\u00f6llig unzureichend und w\u00fcrden wir uns auf ein System allein blind verlassen, dann w\u00fcrden wir uns hoffnungslos verfahren. Im Trio und im Zusammenspiel mit gesundem Menschenverstand sowie einer guten Portion Intuition klappt es aber dann ganz gut. Stunde um Stunde arbeiten wir uns voran, \u00fcber lange Strecken mit gerade einmal f\u00fcnf Stundenkilometern. Wir fahren am fast 6.000 Meter hohen Vulkan <em>Ollag\u00fce<\/em> vorbei, der auf chilenischer Seite liegt und uns mit einer hauchzarten, kaum erkennbaren Rauchfahne gr\u00fc\u00dft. Wasseroberfl\u00e4che sich die umliegenden 5000er und 6000er spiegeln und die Heimat der beiden seltenen Andenflamingoarten, <em>Tokoko<\/em> und <em>Chururu<\/em>, sind.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style absolute Einsamkeit? In diese H\u00f6he? Wann? Und vor allem: Warum? Zig Kilometer weit ist rundherum nichts. Die Lagunen sind wei\u00dfges\u00e4umt von Borax, was zusammen mit dem Blau und T\u00fcrkis des Wassers einen wunderbaren Kontrast zu den Braunt\u00f6nen der Berge und dem gelbfarbigen Andengras ergibt.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mondomare.de\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/P1140300.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1364\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mondomare.de\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/P1140300-300x212.jpg\" alt=\"P1140300\" width=\"300\" height=\"212\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.mondomare.de\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/P1140300-300x212.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.mondomare.de\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/P1140300-600x424.jpg 600w, http:\/\/www.mondomare.de\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/P1140300-624x441.jpg 624w, http:\/\/www.mondomare.de\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/P1140300.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Das gesamte Gebiet in seiner Einzigartigkeit z\u00e4hlt zur <em>Reserva Nacional de Fauna Andina Eduardo Avaroa<\/em> und steht unter strengem Naturschutz. Das Wasser des Sees ist aufgrund kupferhaltiger Mineralien r\u00f6tlich gef\u00e4rbt, an manchen Stellen von gr\u00fcnen Algen durchsetzt und von einem schneewei\u00dfen Boraxstrand umgeben. Die beiden jungen M\u00e4nner in dicken Jacken und den landestypischen M\u00fctzen bis \u00fcber die Ohren freuen sich ganz offensichtlich \u00fcber diesen Besuch und sind ausnehmend freundlich. Was haben sie nur verbrochen, da\u00df sie die Verbannung in diesen allerletzten Winkel von Ein\u00f6de verdient haben? Das kleine, aus grobem Stein gebaute Geb\u00e4ude ist f\u00fcr die beiden B\u00fcro, Wohn- und Schlafzimmer gleichzeitig und hat noch nicht einmal einen Ofen oder Kamin, und das bei n\u00e4chtlichen Temperaturen von bis zu -20 Grad! In dieser Eish\u00f6hle werden unsere Daten handschriftlich in eine Liste eingetragen und das war\u00b4s auch schon. Das Computer- und Wi-Fi Zeitalter hat den Weg in diese endlegene \u00d6dnis noch nicht gefunden.<\/p>\n<p>Zum Posten geh\u00f6ren eine derzeit unbesetzte meteorologische Beobachtungsstation und ein sogenanntes <em>campamento<\/em>, d. h. hier lebt eine Handvoll Menschen, deren Bekanntschaft wir am n\u00e4chsten Morgen machen, von der Llama- und Alpaka-Zucht. Wie schon h\u00e4ufig in Bolivien erlebt, begegnen sie uns unfreundlich und griesgr\u00e4mig, drehen uns beim Betanken des Wassertanks sogar den Hahn ab, obwohl wir bereits gro\u00dfz\u00fcgig daf\u00fcr bezahlt haben und giften uns mit einem Wortschwall in unverst\u00e4ndlicher Sprache an. Wahrscheinlich brauchen sie ein Ventil, um sich mal Luft zu machen. Hier gibt es ja auch sonst nichts, wor\u00fcber man sich aufregen k\u00f6nnte. Wenn Stille h\u00f6rbar ist dann hier. Optisch und akustisch k\u00f6nnten wir genauso gut auf dem Mars unterwegs sein und wenn hier etwas passiert, dann kann einen noch nicht einmal Lassie retten. Welch gewaltige Eruptionen m\u00fcssen dem vorausgegangen sein? Mit welch immenser Wucht mu\u00df die Erde ihr Innerstes nach au\u00dfen geschleudert haben? Wir f\u00fchlen uns wie Zeitzeugen der Erdgeschichte und uns wird wieder einmal bewusst, da\u00df diese noch lange nicht abgeschlossen, sondern ein immerw\u00e4hrender Proze\u00df au\u00dferhalb der menschlichen Kontrolle ist. Zu sagen &#8222;Man mu\u00df die Natur in Balance halten&#8220; klingt zwar gut, ist aber Quatsch. Weder Worte noch Bilder k\u00f6nnen unsere Gef\u00fchle und Eindr\u00fccke auch nur ann\u00e4hrend wiedergeben; jeder Versuch mu\u00df angesichts der Gro\u00dfartigkeit dieser Landschaft schon im Ansatz scheitern.<\/p>\n<p>Bei sp\u00e4teren Recherchen stellen wir fest, da\u00df wir unwissentlich gro\u00dfe Streckenabschnitte der diesj\u00e4hrigen Ralley Paris &#8211; Dakar, die \u00fcber Chile, Bolivien und Argentinien f\u00fchrte, gefahren sind. Wir hatten ab und an einige kleine Markierungen im Sand und Ger\u00f6ll gesehen und uns schon nach deren Bedeutung gefragt, aber mit Blick auf das Rennen macht es Sinn. An die Geschwindigkeiten der internationalen Fahrer kamen wir mit unserem Schiff allerdings nicht ann\u00e4hrend heran \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Ungef\u00e4hr 50 km s\u00fcdlich des Geysirfeldes erreichen wir kurz vor Einbruch der Dunkelheit die <em>Laguna Verde<\/em> am Fu\u00df der Vulkane <em>Licanbur<\/em> und <em>Juriquez<\/em> und suchen uns einen Stellplatz auf 4.350 Metern . H\u00f6her haben wir noch nie geschlafen. Kurz vor Mitternacht steigert sich der eiskalte Wind zu einer Sturmst\u00e4rke, die selbst den 7,5 Tonnen schweren Unimog zum Schwanken bringt. Da es auf der Hochebene keine Hindernisse wie Felsen oder W\u00e4lder gibt, die den Sturm zumindest etwas brechen k\u00f6nnten, tost der Wind v\u00f6llig ungebremst heulend dar\u00fcber hinweg. Die Nacht ist f\u00fcr uns entsprechend unruhig und ausgeruht sind wir am n\u00e4chsten Morgen nicht, aber es hat sich gelohnt. Um die Mittagszeit vollzieht sich dann an der <em>Laguna Verde<\/em> ein besonderes Naturschauspiel: Durch die Sonneneinstrahlung und die Reaktion des pflanzlichen Planktons in Verbindung mit dem hohen Blei-, Kalzium- und Schwefelgehaltes schimmert die vorher kristallklare Lagune pl\u00f6tzlich t\u00fcrkis-gr\u00fcnlich.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style type=\"text\/css\">\n\t\t\t#gallery-9 gephotoshopped!<\/p>\n<p>Nachdem wir uns an dem Farbspiel satt gesehen haben fahren wir weiter und erreichen am Nachmittag den winzigen internationalen Grenz\u00fcbergang nach Chile: Nach fast tausend Kilometern offroad sind Unimoppel und wir zwar ganz sch\u00f6n ger\u00e4dert, aber wir haben es geschafft!<\/p>\n<p><a
